I am an associate professor in Industrial Engineering in the laboratory CRAN (Centre de Recherche en Automatique de Nancy) at the Université de Lorraine since 2022. Before joining CRAN, I was a two-year postdoctoral researcher at the Université Toulouse 3 Paul-Sabatier, supervised by Prof. Jean-Michel BRUEL. From 2016 to 2019, I pursued my Ph.D. at INSA Lyon, supervised by Prof. Vincent CHEUTET, Prof. Tao WANG, and Associate Prof. Haiqing ZHANG. Prior to embarking on my doctoral studies, I completed my master’s degree from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where I was supervised by Associate Prof. Guohua Shen and Prof. Zhiqiu Huang. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Anhui University of Technology.

Currently, my research interests center on ethics in smart manufacturing, with a particular focus on the systematic integration of ethical considerations into the development of Digital Twins (DTs). We refer to such ethically informed DTs as Digital Ethical Twins (DETs). My work also explores theoretical frameworks for guaranteeing that DETs consistently make ethical decisions. In addition, I am investigating Domain-Specific-Language-based methods to automatically extract ethical requirements from natural language–based system requirements, enabling the seamless incorporation of ethics into intelligent manufacturing systems.
